“FUNNY CLOUDS” IS OUT!!! Before the pandemic really kicked in, I had the opportunity to tour in Greenland, which provided immense inspiration. Compositions like Funny Clouds and Aurora are based on incredibly formative experiences during that tour. Afterward came the lockdown in Denmark, where I experienced the greatest contrast to the vast landscapes I had just encountered—namely, the walls of my own apartment. I started writing the music for this album in 2020 during the lockdown, and in March of 2023 I went into the studio with some incredible friends. The album features @madschjensen on Guitar @sophus.l on Alto Saxophone @luka_dge on Piano @torbenbjoernskov on Double Bass And myself on Drums/Compositions Photo by @georgegrydkovets and myself We were very fortunate to work with the incredible @jacobsworm who was both in charge of engineering, but also mixing and mastering. So, I have little to no experience with Logic, and i wanna change that. At the same time, I've been writing a lot of new music. This is one of those tunes, "Banger 9" (WT), and this is a little demo i made of it. Had to record drums at 10PM in my apartment, as quietly as possible, and I figured out how to use my keyboard as a midi controller. I also have zero knowledge about mixing, so it's a lil rough around the edges, but I think it's cute, so thought i'd post it here. Might post more demos in the future, so i can get better at this stuff 💚

This is not exactly the “title track”, but it certainly inspired me to come up with the album title. I Graduated 🎉💚 It’s actually pretty hard to believe and kind of surreal. Moving to New York was a dream I had since 2021, and now I can call myself a New School Alumni, with a Master of Music degree. That’s absolutely crazy to me. During these two years I’ve had so many life changing epiphanies. I wanna thank my many drum teachers. Thank you @_imjeremydutton_ @kwe.drums @kadscott @johnathanblakedrums and @kwjazzdrums ❤️ Other teachers that I’d like to thank is #tomasfujiwara @jlage #andrewcyrille @imdariusjones @daveglassermusic and @stevecardenasmusic You’ve truly changed my life, each in different ways. Small remarks, as well as huge radical changes in my perception of the world.
