He is a bandleader, composer and entrepreneur. He is best known for his 8-piece band Sonic Choir of Love, which released their debut sel-titled album on April 25th 2025. In 2026 they released their second album feat Petter Eldh. Martien  Groeneveld presents in this concert Old Love Songs from North and South Carolina in combination with his self built Riolophone, Waterflutes, Giant Xylophone and VW Beetle Harp. lur/mort  Xico Ribas - electronics, augmented cymbal Marcus Wärnheim  (amplified) alto saxophone, fx board lur/mort searches for the ecstatic dimensions of lur/ mort searches for the ecstatic dimensions of noise and drones, striving for catharsis and individual expression in new rituals of cybernetic spirituality. Their immersive sound world is constructed through the acoustic sound sources of alto saxophone and a cymbal equipped with transducer speakers, manipulated through feedback systems, live sampling and effects. They find new sounds in their own constructed system of digital and physical circuits in the meeting with known and unknown objects.
