Contest winner Crow shares "The Shadow That Stayed," describing it as a "reimagining of the breeze block windows of 2000s China--concrete grids that once framed light, air, and lingering shadows in stairwells." Crow shares, "Each stitch is a small act of remembrance, an attempt to give form to what memory wonโ€™t let go."
