Scottish producer Intertoto returns to What About Never with Siccar Point LP - inspired by the dramatic east coast landscapes of Scotland and the geological theories of James Hutton. Across eight immersive pieces, Intertoto explores tension, space and slow transformation, drifting between weightless ambient textures and submerged dub techno pulses.
Much of Siccar Point carries this sense of environmental immersion. Several tracks feel as though they were captured outdoors using an elaborate field recording setup in some uncharted habitat. Itâs easy to forget that many of these details were meticulously sculpted in a studio turned laboratory. The result is music that feels both organic and deeply considered.

IA MIX 398 // To mark the release of his new album Siccar Point, Intertoto delivers an exclusive live set built from unreleased material and dubbed-out stems. Immersed in a murky, dub-heavy atmosphere, the session gradually unfolds into a handful of 4/4 movements. The deliberately minimal setup centres around Ableton, expanded with Intech Studio MIDI controllers and shaped by a hands-on effects chain. In the accompanying interview, Intertoto discusses studio gear, texture, and the creative role of controlled randomness.
