Melbourne / Naarm based artist Match Fixer @match_fixer45 brings the track ‘Dozing in the cool air’ to our new compilation, Worlds Only World. He says: “Like most of my recent tracks ‘Dozing in the cool air’ was born in the later hours of a midweek evening. I sit at a distance of two houses away from a main road where the gentle phase of vehicles wafts in and out of earshot, punctuated by an occasional unidentified industrial clunk from who knows what. Still, the night feels quiet, and I’m lucky to be able to write “still, the night feels quiet”.” Match Fixer has been doing the sound stuff for a while. Initially the project was quite the urban racket, but recently it’s softened to etching out various maps of how to drive the sometimes sparkling, the sometimes rusted rhythms through thick night fogs.
