✨️ Mardi dernier, le 5 mai, lors de la Forum Studio Session #7 et dans le cadre des résidences CNM x Ircam Inside, nous avons accueilli @cecilelacharmemusic au côté de son ingénieur du son @ici.batou Seule sur scène, avec son pedalboard, elle a superposé boucles et strates sonores dans une multidiffusion à 360°, offrant une expérience enveloppante et cinématographique.  La soirée s’est poursuivie avec une présentation des technologies développées à l’Ircam.  Merci aux artistes, aux équipes et au public ! 📸 Photo crédit : @dataproduction.fr --- ✨ Last Tuesday, May 5, during Forum Studio Session #7 and as part of the CNM x Ircam Inside residencies, we welcomed @cecilelacharmemusic alongside her sound engineer @ici.batou Alone on stage with her pedalboard, she layered loops and soundscapes in a 360° sound field, offering an immersive, cinematic experience. The evening continued with a presentation of technologies developed at Ircam. Thank you to the artists, the teams, and the audience !

Excited to present an updated version of my A/V experimental performance New Ruins this Sunday at @muffatwerk as part of the @muenchenerbiennale Festival. Developed in collaboration with @taniacortesbecerra (visuals) and commissioned by @ircamforum , the piece explores a dynamic interplay between cutting-edge AI systems, as RAVE by @acids.paris and SOMAX2 by @erc_reach , and my modular synthesizer and turntable setup. A live exploration of sound, machine intelligence, and real-time improvisation, the work received an Honorary Mention at the latest edition of the @arselectronica – Digital Musics & Sound Art. gcode _ Paris [FR] FR Guillaume Piccarreta (gcode) est un programmeur, musicien et artiste numérique, explorant l'interaction entre le son et l'image. Après avoir étudié l'art numérique à l’Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne, il a vécu quatre ans à Tokyo, où il a développé des applications créatives, des performances audiovisuelles et des installations interactives. Il travaille actuellement à l’IRCAM, où il participe à des projets réunissant artistes et chercheurs autour de nouvelles formes d'expérimentation sonore. Avec son projet gcode, il explore les liens entre algorithmes génératifs, esthétique du processus et outils informatiques, au travers de performances audiovisuelles, installations et ateliers dans les communautés du live coding et de l'art numérique. EN Guillaume Piccarreta (gcode) is a programmer, musician, and digital artist exploring the interaction between sound and image. After studying digital art at Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne University, he lived in Tokyo for four years, where he developed creative applications, audiovisual performances, and interactive installations. He currently works at IRCAM, contributing to projects that bring together artists and researchers around new forms of sonic experimentation. ✨Quelle session féérique hier soir lors de la Forum Studio session #6 avec @anee.molly et @bart__bell , dans le cadre des résidences CNM x Ircam Inside ! Les artistes ont présenté Modular Dream, une performance transdisciplinaire qui explore les relations entre activité cérébrale, sommeil et création sonore. Allongée au milieu des spectateurs, une participante portait un casque EEG qui captait l’activité du cerveau en temps réel. Ces signaux étaient traduits en paramètres musicaux et pilotaient un système génératif connecté à un synthétiseur modulaire. À mesure que le corps s’approchait du sommeil, le son se transformait. Après la performance, les équipes ont présenté les outils avec lesquels ils ont travaillé : Max for Live, les technologies de spatialisation de l’Ircam (Spat) ainsi que SKataRT pour le design sonore, issu des recherches de l’équipe Interaction Son Musique Mouvement. The artists presented Modular Dream, a transdisciplinary performance that explores the relationships between brain activity, sleep, and sound creation. Lying down among the audience, a participant wore an EEG headset that captured brain activity in real time. These signals were translated into musical parameters and drove a generative system connected to a modular synthesizer. As the body drifted toward sleep, the sound transformed. After the performance, the teams presented the tools they used: Max for Live, IRCAM’s spatialization technologies (Spat), and SKataRT for sound design, developed from the research of the Interaction Sound Music Movement team. 📸 @dataproduction.fr
