Goal Weight is a New York City-based duo comprising Maggie Cox (bass) and Jennifer Gersten (violin). Their collaboration originated in a 2021 meeting while quarantined together at a celebrity yoga retreat in the Berkshires; under today's rather less stressful circumstances, they’re happily investigating sonic collisions between their string family siblings.
Simon Kanzler is from a small village in southern Germany called Ottersweier. When he is not composing or programming electronic sounds, he is often seen enjoying a damn fine cup of coffee.
By way of London, Nagoya, and Detroit, Yuma Uesaka is a Brooklyn-based saxophonist, clarinetist, reed-trumpeter, and improviser who plays these instruments in an unusual yet highly rigorous manner
Qiujiang Levi Lu brings augmented voice, trumpet, trombone, and laptop.
