~ We started writing Diver in the middle of the Pyrenees mountains. There, removed so far from the sea, our minds focused on water. The image of diving so deep that blackness is all surrounding, yet never suffocating. A metaphor surfaced, for trying to be better for someone you love. Diving deep despite how endless the journey might seem. But today, this song actually feels like an arrival. After our first album, there’s been so much soul searching. We found our main ingredients - the ancient, the futuristic and the personal. We got madly excited about hyper-reality in sound, and found collaborators for years to come. Now it feels like we’re peeking into a universe we get to explore bit by bit, one track at a time. Starting with arpeggiating bubbles, eel-like synth lines, and liquid basses that seem to emerge from the depths where only the freakiest of fish can see.”
