Details – Step-by-Step
Step 1:
Spray down THE WATER BOI Reparative Leave-In Detangling Conditioner Spray to smooth the hair.
Step 2:
• Comb the hair again and apply THE HOMECURL Curl-Defining Cream.
Step 3:
• Separate the hair into two sections and part it on your desired side. On the side where you leave more hair, leave a small section out for the detail braid.
• Start by combing the back section of the hair upward and clip the other section down.
Step 4:
• Begin braiding from the back to the front. Once you reach the front of the head, start braiding in a circular motion. When you’re done, pin the length of the hair into the circle.
Step 5:
• Move on to the section with the most hair. Start braiding from the back to the front, making sure to braid toward the face, continuing the circular pattern. When you’re finished, pin the length of the hair into the circle.
Step 6:
• For the small detail section, apply a bit of THE CONTROLLING TYPE Hair-Thickening Edge Control Gel and braid the section. Clip it to make the detail pop.
• Use your THE SIDE STICK 3-in-1 Edge Styling Tool to slick down any baby hairs or flyaways.
