There’s something magical about hard shadows and intense highlights—the way light carves out shapes, creating depth and drama in the simplest moments. I’m drawn to these extremes, the sharp edges where light meets dark, revealing the raw textures and stories often hidden in plain sight. For me, it’s all about embracing imperfections within “perfection”, celebrating contrast and finding beauty in simplicity as well in boldness. Life isn’t always soft, so why should lighting always be?
My favourite way to create a lot of contrast between the highlights and shadows models is to use the
