Autotrader x Spudbros Drive-Thru
22x43 Creative had the pleasure of delivering the ‘World’s First Car Valuation Drive-Thru’ experience for Autotrader.
Working in collaboration with
@hopeandglorypr and partnering with jacket potato royalty & viral sensation duo,
@therealspudbros . The culmination of the two brands meant it was only right to dub this unique experience ‘The Autotater Drive-Thru’.
Guests arrived at The Depot Mayfield, Manchester and drove through a two-part special effects sequence. Equipped with lasers, stobes, actors and various other bespoke sound and lighting effects to achieve an IRL simulation of vehicle scanning and valuation checks, akin to Autotrader’s online valuation tool. We also produced a bespoke ‘drive-time’ radio show, SpudFM. On arrival guests were instructed to tune in via their car radio’s to our FM broadcast for an authentic, brand driven radio show.
The Spudbros provided their signature serve for each and every car. Guests had the option of a classic Cheese and Beans, or Curry in a Hurry. The brother’s Jacob & Harley were on hand to personally deliver food to vehicles, engage with each and every guest and pose for our robotic arm motion capture, courtesy of

As well as hundreds of guests receiving a valuation for their car, the experience and promotion prompted thousands to engage with Autotrader’s online valuation tool.
