The Worst Dressed Man in Britain? Chris’s words, not ours. He visited our Cheltenham store looking for a wardrobe that could keep up. Track days, filming, events, travel - clothes that work without overthinking things. No makeover. No big reveal. Just a few well-chosen pieces, a bit more confidence, and Chris still very much looking like Chris. Read the full story on the &SONS Journal.

Born from the practical work shirts of 1930s Hawaii, the Aloha shirt evolved into a canvas for colour, print and individuality. Our Flight Print Shirt carries that spirit forward with a bold all-over crane print, cut from breathable linen-blend fabric with natural texture and movement. The beauty is in the variation. Each shirt is cut from a different section of the fabric, meaning the crane print falls differently every time. No two are exactly alike. Each one is individual, distinctive and entirely its own.

Behind the final shots, there’s always another story being written. The early starts. Camera tests. Unplanned moments between takes. The conversations, the laughter and the friendships that build as the shoot unfolds. Out on the Italian Riviera, this became more than a collection shoot. It became a reminder of what our brand can create beyond the clothes themselves: shared experiences, creative work, collaboration, trust, and a team pulling together. We make garments, but the world around them matters to us just as much. The people, the places, the craft, the stories and the good stuff that happens along the way. These moments don’t always make the final edit. But they’re often the ones that stay with you.

In the early 20th century, Eleanor Clarke Slagle pioneered what would become occupational therapy through an idea known as habit training. At its heart was a simple belief: that meaningful daily activity could help restore rhythm, confidence and balance. Occupation, in this sense, means the things that occupy a life. Work, rest, craft, movement, routine, care and repair. The small actions that give a day structure. The little rituals that help people feel connected to themselves again. Slagle was not working in a world where mental health was spoken about with the language we use today. She was a woman helping to shape a new field at a time when both mental healthcare and women’s professional authority were still heavily restricted. Her work helped move treatment away from containment and towards structure, dignity, activity and care. A social worker by training, Slagle studied at the Chicago School of Civics and Philanthropy and was connected with Hull House, the pioneering social reform settlement in Chicago. In 1917, she conducted occupational therapy training courses there, helping to formalise a practice that was still in its early stages. She later directed occupational therapy research for the state of Illinois, organised therapy programmes for state mental hospitals, and became New York State Director of Occupational Therapy in 1922. She may not have become a household name, but her influence endured. More than a decade after her death, the American Occupational Therapy Association created the Eleanor Clarke Slagle Lectureship Award in her honour, recognising her as one of the profession’s outstanding pioneers. She was a pioneer, not because she shouted the loudest, but because she helped prove something quietly radical: that what we do every day can shape how we feel.

Fresh caps for summer. Three new styles built for warmer days, longer wear and everyday use. The Blue Jay and Panther bring classic trucker cap styling, with structured peaks, adjustable backs and hardwearing fabrics. The Track & Field Cap is a classic baseball cap, finished with understated athletic detailing and an adjustable branded buckle to get the fit just right. Each cap features our newly developed internal sweat guard, a hidden panel designed to absorb moisture and help lock it in, reducing visible staining and keeping your cap looking fresher for longer.

Today, we’re making time for the small stuff that matters. Going for a walk. Making something with your hands. Writing things down. Stepping away from the screen. Making a proper coffee. Connecting with a mate. For Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re reminding ourselves that looking after your head doesn’t always need to be complicated. Little rituals won’t fix everything. But they can give your day shape. Something steady to come back to. A moment to refocus. A chance to reset

The Riviera. Inspired by early trips to the Italian coast, old family cine film, golden light, slower days and the effortless style of the men who lived there. High-waisted trousers. Breton tees. Rolled hems. Simple plimsolls. The Riviera Collection looks back to that feeling and brings it into the here and now.
