Historic buildings are like people. They have personalities, quirks, and needs. Their layouts shape what they can become, but it’s the people inside them that matter most. We’re here to connect, to learn, to grow. There’s something cosmic about building visions inside a place like Hooper House. Originally ambitious when it was built in 1886, it continues to inspire ambitious dreams today. Grateful to see the project recognized with an Excellence in Rehabilitation award by the Maryland Historic Trust. The bones were always beautiful. Tonight’s potluck was a success! The stories, the collective spirit flowing through our words, laughter, and actions were so beautiful to witness.
