Adding a new verse to the Grateful Dead merch story!
6 months ago, I called on my dear friend and longtime creative collaborator
@zoltron to help me put together a “little show”..
With no idea what was ahead, he agreed and we ended up building the most ambitious gallery production TCP has ever done.
We worked with the lovely mgmt team at Grateful Dead & Rhino Records. We collaborated with our 🖤s
@rickgriffindesigns
We built a concert level merch booth. Inside a circus tent. With a touring merch crew.
Then Z opened his Rolodex and called in his heaviest vendors...
@farmfreshshirts printed our tees. 8 color water based silkscreen discharge on organic ring spun cotton with inside neck prints, 2/C backs and custom woven labels. 100 of each design in black. 60 of each design in tie dye.
@stickerobot made custom silkscreen hangtags. Die cut, kiss cut, hole-punched and hand numbered. Plus the most epic Grateful Dead sticker packs ever created, each pack numbered of 500.
@sweet_dyes_sweet_vibes meticulously hand dyed hundreds of magical tie dyes. 🔥
@shirtbakery screened 500 organic cellulose Swedish dish cloths with split fountain prints, bundled in silkscreen hemp packaging with stapleless binding.
And then we went BIG… Zoltron designed The ONE Grinder to rule them all. Four chamber. Aluminum die cast. An archeological artifact brought to life with the legendary Klim
@bigshottoyworks Only 600 made. Ever.
We dialed in every last detail And we can’t wait to share everything with you. Seeeee you Saturday !!!
