“Hawaiian Aoxomoxoa” Returns.
Originally created in 1968 for a Grateful Dead and It’s a Beautiful Day concert that never happened, Rick Griffin’s “Hawaiian Aoxomoxoa” remains one of the rarest and most mythical posters of the psychedelic era.
This surf-infused redesign would evolve into Griffin’s legendary 1969 Aoxomoxoa album cover for
@gratefuldead — a masterpiece of color, chaos, and spiritual symmetry.
More than fifty years later, we’re bringing this piece of Dead history back to life. Drop Date: November 15, 2025
Printed by
@monolith_press
Exclusively from The Estate of Rick Griffin
Edition details:
/150 Cotton Rag
/65 White Swirl Foil
/45 Lava Foil
/15 Cotton Rag with no Cyan layer (3 left)
Each print is a portal to Griffin’s visionary world — reborn for a new generation of collectors and Deadheads
