Recursive subdivision and typography
It’s been an intense month, but I finally found some time to play around with the recursive subdivision plugin by @kamilk_mograph on @scenery__io_
It’s pretty amazing to see this kind of grid animation being done in Cavalry. I’m now interested in exploring how plugins can be created for Cavalry.

Back from Amsterdam a few weeks now, and I still have to say it was one of the best trips I’ve had in years. Would love to come back soon and meet more creatives from across Europe.
Here are some floral / stained-glass-esque motions I’ve been working on since before the trip. I really love how they sometimes start to feel organic in the way the lines connect points and text. Really happy with how these turned out.

GARAPON
I often saw lottery wheels in supermarkets and on the streets in Japan toward the end of the year. GARAPON is an onomatopoeia for the sound made when the lottery wheel is spun and a ball pops out. Although you can’t really see what’s happening inside the box, I wanted to explore what those scenes might look like when translated into graphical motion.
