As today April 5th '26 is the day the true God arise from the dead. I made a visual titled
Apostles // FAITH // Ascension.
The day which the rock's been moved and faith ascend. A glorious day indeed!!!!
From static to motion, @Canva 's professional design suite just got even bigger. Created by animators, for animators. Welcome to the family, @cavalry.app 💚
We have news!
We’re delighted to announce that Cavalry has joined Canva, adding motion design to their Pro Design offering alongside Affinity. We can’t wait to introduce Cavalry to a vast new audience and help make professional design tools accessible worldwide.
To the amazing Cavalry community, rest assured this will be absolute rocket fuel for Cavalry’s growth, providing us with the resources to expand our small team and accelerate our roadmap. Canva’s commitment is to preserve and strengthen Cavalry as a professional motion tool through continued development — not simplify or dilute it.
We’ve been working closely with the Canva motion team for the last year and couldn’t be happier with Cavalry’s new home.
To all you brave pioneers here, you’ve picked the right horse! Thank you for all the feedback, encouragement and support over the last few years. Cavalry wouldn’t be where it is today without you.
Looking forward to the next stage in Cavalry’s journey.
LFG 🚀
After Effects has dominated motion design for decades. @cavalry.app , a procedural animation tool where graphic design, typography and creative coding collide within a no-code interface, has been quietly building momentum as an alternative. Now, data visualisation studio @algo.tv has released Typeflow, a free web app that lets anyone type text, select a colour palette and generate typographic animations directly in the browser – no software installation required. The project marks the first public implementation of Cavalry’s Web Player, a beta feature that plays Cavalry files natively in webpages.

To ring in the New Year, we created a 2026 tear-away calendar designed procedurally in Cavalry (@cavalry.app ). 22 BUCKers across departments contributed to the designs, encouraging Cavalry experts and novices alike to see what’s possible with the software.
The limited-edition calendars are available now. 100% of the sales price (minus government tax) will be donated to No Kid Hungry. Cavalry will match our donation.
Shipping is only available in mainland USA (sorry 😞). For full details, head to Goods by BUCK at the 🔗 in bio.

Typeflow.tools is a free nmotion type app by @algo.tv that runs on @cavalry.app a popular animation software — it’s meant to showcase how Cavalry can be used to build tailor-made, branded creative tools. The preview runs on the Cavalry WebPlayer. Video creation runs via the Algo cloud rendering infra. Most of these scenes are available for you to download for free from Scenery, a community of artists sharing open files.

We selected the scenes that could most interestingly be turned into artistic type animation templates” says Luca Gonnelli, Creative Director at Algo. The artists include ShoobAKA, Antonin.work, Matteo Campostrini, Mario De Meyer (plus one scene by the same Luca Gonnelli).
Introducing Typeflow 🟣 typeflow.tools
A new Algo demo, running on Cavalry.
This new free tool (& collaborative project) lets you create artistic typographic animations made in Cavalry, directly in the browser.
Previously, Algo demos always had animation templates made exclusively by our team — but this time we wanted to do something different: collaborating with the Cavalry community. The idea is to have one scene each made by some of our favorite Cavalry artists.
The artists include ShoobAKA, Antonin.work, Matteo Campostrini, Mario De Meyer, plus one scene by our co-founder Luca Gonnelli.
This is possible thanks to the Cavalry Web Player: a new beta feature that plays Cavalry files directly in the browser. This is the first projects in the world going live with it.
Try it out and create as many videos as you like. Cloud rendering costs are on us.
What would you build now that Cavalry files play inside the browser?
