🩵 Blue Monday 🩵 Well kinda, I saw @the.thriller.collector and @weeksofreads both do a stack of books that could be a perfume name, I wanted to get involved. By chance, most of these are blue 🙊😂 Had a bit of fun with this. I actually only buy perfume when the other one is empty 🙊 I did for a while have The Perfume Shop monthly subscription but now I just buy them. My fave perfume is Bon Bon by Viktor Rolf. Just now I have La Bamba by Carolina Herrera, I’ve just finished Elixir by Marc Jacobs Do you have a favourite perfume? Do you have lots and alternate or do you just have 1? I’ve tagged a few people but as always no pressure 🥰🥰 #bookstagram #bookreviewer #bookstackchallenge #booknamesasperfume

📚 WORD CHALLENGE STACK 📚 I was tagged in this challenge by the lovely Maddie @weeksofreads and I thought I would have a go at it with the word that Maddie provided, which was BOOKS 📚 The (B)aby Dragon Bookshop by A. T. Qureshi 📚 The (O)ne by John Marrs 📚 No (O)ne Saw A Thing by Andrea Mara 📚 The Gingerbread Ba(K)ery by Laurie Gilmore 📚 Six Strike(S) by Antonia Grave I have just recently finished reading Six Strikes and I still have to do my review on it, but I can tell you all it was a good read 😊📚 Also I've read The Gingerbread Bakery, I've read it and loved it. Can't wait for the 6th book to come out (which is next month), The Daisy Chain Flower Shop. The other books are still on my TBR and looking forward to reading them 😊📚 Anyone read any of them or got any of them on their TBR? I've tagged a few, if they would like to have a go. If any of you do, tag me, so that I see what books you use 😊📚 The word that I'm giving for this challenge is GENRE #spellthewordchallenge #wordchallenge #bookstack #booksbooksbooks #bookstagram

⭐️ Review ⭐️ 🖤 Nocticadia by Keri Lake I joined a lovely group of book girlies for some bookish chats and monthly reads recently and our first genre to read for April was Dark Romance and this was the book that got picked at random What can I say … what a book to start with 😂 If you like your men morally grey, hot, off limits, crazy protective and possessive then I’m pretty certain you’ll love Mr Devryck Bramwell, a professor and pathologist at Dracadia University- who has lovingly become known by students as Dr Death 😂 This one is a bit of a slow starter, with a lot of worm talk lol but it isn’t a boring slow burn. It builds up a picture of what is going on and builds some tension and fear, Creating a bit of a thriller like vibe with death, threats, secret societies and lies! The second half ramps up the heat as the 2 main characters get a LOT better aquainted and wow 😮 it gets rather steamy in places but is definitely not just about the spice, there’s the very dark twisted secrets being unravelled alongside this forbidden romance. I really enjoyed this one and watching Lilia take that leap into the unknown and finally do something for her, seeing her feistiness grow and her really start to shine in the face of tragedy and trauma, she really is a strong, fierce girl. I also loved to watch Dr Death thaw and find himself too after some awful childhood trauma, honestly some of the people in this place are pure evil. There is a lot of worm talk but it’s not some strange kink or anything haha Devryck is studying the moths & worms toxins to try find a cure to certain illnesses. The people infected with the disease have really awful side effects, including worms taking over their body and brain from the inside it’s all pretty gross haha Anyways I will shut up now but honestly I really enjoyed this one and am so glad I joined the fab group of readers who put this one on my radar - thank you

💙 Birthstone Stack 💙 Happy Sunday lovelies. Do you have anything planned for today? 💭 @the.ghost_reader tagged me in this fun birthstone stack challenge and I’ve put together my best attempt 🩵 My birthday is in December and the birthstones are blue topaz, turquoise, zircon and tanzanite! I was surprised to see that I don’t have a wide range of blue covers on my bookshelves. Mostly darker blues in the thriller and horror reads, with some lighter blues in my romance books. Tagged a few to give it a go but no pressure as always 🥰 🏷️ #bookstack #booktag #bookchallenge #birthstonestack #bookstagramuk
