Here’s a lil photo dump of sorts.
Figure it’s time for an update. So here’s just a few of the big things recently.
1. Firstly I started truly gaffing again this year. I took a small break when I moved to LA, I wanted to learn the ropes of this market before jumping head first. Don’t wanna play Major League Baseball when I’ve only played club softball ya know, they are similar but different. So happy to be lighting again, truly feel in my element and so happy to be working creatively again.
2. I went to Iceland! Oh my lord what a trip, I would go back tomorrow if I could. Beautiful landscapes, great cities, wonderful food, and clean air. I can not say enough about Iceland. Has always been a bucket list location for me and I promise I will return real soon!
3. Was spectacular getting to visit Iceland with my whole family. It’s been a long time since we’ve done a family trip, especially now as we are all spread across the country. My family and I have always been incredibly close so it was nothing but fun.
4. After returning I got to work with many new and old friends and create some great narratives and commercials
5. I got to watch my brother finally marry the love of his life. I was so happy to be there to see their 11 years together culminate in their beautiful ceremony. Never been so happy.
6. Immediately after got to help my younger sister start her new solo journey in her new apartment in upstate New York. Really cool to watch her start this new exciting step in her life and career, so very proud of her and all she has accomplished.
6. I started my business, Lighthaus Grip & Electric. daunting, overwhelming, and exciting. I’ve invested so much time, money, and energy into getting this up and running and making it as real as humanly possible. I decided early this year that I would take a massive gamble and bet on myself. To Push myself and dump all I have into making it a reality. Born from a belief that I could do it better and provide my friends/dps/and clients with good crews, quality equipment, and stunning product. With Lighthaus I aim to better not just myself and my work but those around me.
Anyway, there’s the 411. TLDR - I did things
I know I’m late on the whole new year thing and all else but I’m terrible at social media. So here’s the Past 6 or so months of set (there are more I’m just missing photos or have NDAs). Some gaff shows and others ACLT & SLT. I guess it’s officially 2 years in LA, the time has flown and what I’ve learned is immeasurable. Thanks to all those who have hired or taken a chance on me and to those who have taught me so much! Here’s to a 2024 getting us all back on track and moving onwards and upwards
