The AI generated image of what it could've & should've looked like drove me mad (just a lil, like Frodo's uncle Bilbo in Lord of the rings ) I had literally planned to purchase every color! I then accepted a Truth I had always known, the aftermarket AP i owned looked expensive, and did cost more than what most could afford to simply play "dress up" .But it's actually worthless! You are being overcharged off top ,no matter what deal the jeweler convinced you you were getting. And you can't resale the watch because it's a replica.( they all are! hate the game ..players.) and what do I look like haggling over loose stones? it has sat for years so I decided to make a.... sacrifice if you will! I already wasted the money I may as well make it make sense. This act is to annul and divorce myself from a bad marriage with materialism. (it's very difficult because ... we are in love after all ) I have to say this felt like a fantastic voyage of self discovery. I felt so free, so alive in the moment. It is truly symbolic and deeply meaningful. Don't worry I've got other watches, and in no way am I judging or asking anyone to do the same, this is my own personal accountability, . but I do hope this image Burns into the subconscious of a subculture that has got that shit on, but don't know what #time it is!
