“For the Love of Gods” is a plea I wrote about being in so deep that I need every Deity to help me to forget, move on, and heal from a past love.
Growing up as a queer kid at a Catholic school in the Midwest, I remember how powerful it felt to sing at mass—the symbolism of this song was inspired by that experience. This is my hymn to any Divinity that will listen, even the ones I don’t pray to.
