KITCHEN IN THE WILD I’m delighted to be joining Kitchen In The Wild next March at @coombesheadfarm in Cornwall. KITW is a series of culinary events taking place around the world, with nature, food and craft at their core - founded by @valentinewarner49 and @wearesprout . Each intimate event sees a small number of guests come together for a long weekend alongside guest chefs and bartenders, artists and speakers. I’ll be there with my linoprints workshops! The only way to get to grips with each of our locations’ ingredients is to experience them first hand. While some flavour combinations are obvious, the cornucopia of intriguing and strange new ingredients (from kind folk who know we’re interested) needs chewing over. That the sweet may pair with the savoury, the bitter find its way to the booze and the downright odd be turned into something tempting. Kitchen in the Wild x Masaki Sugisaki Following the huge response to our @coombesheadfarm trip in November, we’re delighted to announce another Cornwall date in March 2027, with guest chef @masaki_sugisaki Masaki’s cooking is rooted in Japanese discipline, shaped by years spent in his family’s Kaiseki restaurant just north of Tokyo, and refined through his work in London. At @dinings_sw3 , he brings that same precision to British ingredients, with a particular focus on Cornish seafood. He will be joined by: - @valentinewarner49 from @kitchenitw - @tom_m_adams of @coombesheadfarm - Artist @agakubish , whose printmaking explores botanical systems and layered natural forms - Writer @sarahlangfordwrites , whose work considers farming, food and the natural world - @nickstrangeway behind the bar - @benglazer who will be sharing the sourdough process with guests across the weekend. 18–21st March 2027. Menu process We start planning menus in earnest 3 months before each trip. Of course it starts with the ingredients in each setting; what’s available under our noses, what the surrounding landscape produces, the best of the season, and the finest local suppliers. We share these delicious findings with our guest chefs and the menus begin to take shape. KITW locations tend to throw curveballs; weather, tricky roads or stormy seas. So too an inquisitive guest chef who changes their mind on discovering an enticing new larder. So, despite meticulous planning, it’s the last minute changes we have learned to embrace. Kitchen in the Wild x Adam Byatt This November, we’re thrilled to be joined by @adambyatt at @coombesheadfarm in Cornwall. Adam’s cooking strikes a rare balance: total command of the classics, paired with invention and a deep respect for ingredients, both wild and cultivated. His early years at Claridge’s led to The Square with Phil Howard. Today, he brings that same care to Trinity, alongside his role as Chair of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts. Watch for an insight into our Scotland adventures... On our 2026 Scotland trips, guide @mattwaterston will take guests out by kayak and RIB between tides and supper, threading through sea lochs where dolphins may surface, scanning for sea eagles overhead, and nosing into quiet coves for encounters with seals and sea otters. Back on land at @eileanshona , you’ll catch the smell of woodsmoke long before dinner as the chefs are busy in the kitchen. Introducing Kitchen in the Wild: Cornwall 2026. From 12th–15th November, we’re heading to @coombesheadfarm , a working farm, bakery and restaurant tucked into the Cornish countryside. Across three nights, we’ll be cooking with a trio of chefs: @adambyatt , @tom_m_adams and our own @valentinewarner49 , working with ingredients from the farm and the surrounding landscape. Between meals, the days are designed to be properly hands-on: - Sourdough baking with @benglazer - Pottery with @timlpots - A cocktail masterclass with @nickstrangeway - Walks on Bodmin Moor, when the air sharpens We’re also thrilled to have @isabella.tree with us, sharing her story of rewilding at Knepp. Coombeshead feels like a perfect next chapter for us: glorious isolation, proper farmhouse comforts, and a kitchen known for careful husbandry, brilliant charcuterie, exceptional sourdough and the best chickens you might ever eat.
