No waiting lists. Barely any reviews. And he’d rather share dog videos than dishes from his menu…
So why do the world’s top chefs long to eat @sebastianfmyers ’ food?
For this week’s cover, Killian Fox wrote a profile on Seb Myers, the chef and co-owner of @_planque_ .

On Friday we got announced as number 1 on the amazing list @jonathandnunn and @vittlesmagazine have put together.
The amount of love we have received since then is beyond what we could have imagined, and we cannot be proud enough to be recognized as one of the most loved restaurant in London.
We feel so humbled to be amongst so many other places we love, and it feels quite surreal to have topped a list showcasing a lot of chefs and restaurants we admire.
We want to thank everyone who has worked at Planque since day 1, as well as every guest who has set foot through the space for over 4 years now.
Thank you @jonathandnunn for understanding @sebastianfmyers ’ wonderful cooking, and for putting together such a love letter to London’s diverse food culture that truly seems endless to explore.
Much love,
Jon and the Planque team
PLANQUE - SUNDAY 3RD MAY - FROM 2PM
Following DUMBO’s celebrated arrival on London’s dining scene, we have a collaboration coming up with the Paris-born smashburger pioneer, and it will be taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday 3rd May.
For this exclusive event, our chef Seb Myers will create his own take on DUMBO’s famed Paris smashburger, bringing together the distinctive styles of both brands for a unique collaboration launching for one day only at Planque. The burger will be served with a gribiche-style sauce, a classic French preparation known for its rich, tangy character.
The limited-edition menu will be served at Planque from 2pm onwards until sold out, with no bookings required, offering guests the opportunity to experience this exclusive collaboration in a relaxed, first-come-first-served format.
We look forward to having you over!

TUESDAY 28TH APRIL - YANN DURIEUX DINNER

Last December we were able to invite one of our favorite winemakers to co-host a tasting with our founder @j_a_a
We had the pleasure to have @guillaume_selosse and his better half @caroline_selosse at Planque for a 5 hour lunch, showcasing some of the most amazing wines from the domaine.
We tasted 2004 in magnum, a whole case of Lieux Dits, 3 disgorgments of Substance, L’Autre Même and… the yet to be released Coteaux « Finage » red and white.
A once in a lifetime lunch where many of our regulars got to mingle with Guillaume and Caroline, while eating Seb’s delicious food.
Thank you to everyone involved, what a way to wrap up our 2025 tastings program. We have a lot more coming up, check out Monograph Series via the link in bio.
Last October, we invited over Champagne winemaker @etiennecalsac alongside his longtime friend, collaborator and Austrian importer @martinspilens to co-host a dinner at Planque.
After the event, we talked about wine with one of them: @bubblebistrot founder and Champagne fanatic, Martins Pilens.

Behind the scenes of our cover shoot, we catch up with @sebastianfmyers – you may not know his name, but his cooking @_planque_ is absolutely worthy of your attention.
@sebastianfmyers , is the chef and co-owner of @_planque_ in East London, a restaurant where intense dedication to good cooking co-exists with a sense of play and a deep aversion to cheffy self-importance.
Since Planque opened in east London in September 2021, there's been a slow burn of appreciation for Seb Myers' cooking. His peers love what he does, but at times he's felt like he's better known in Paris or New York, rather than in his own city.
Over several visits in the past couple of months, Killian Fox had one miraculous dish after another, each with “levels of refinement and consistency unmatched elsewhere in the city.”
“He doesn’t cook their food. He doesn’t cook French food, or Italian food, or Mediterranean food. He cooks Seb Myers food, which is incredibly rare.”

We have some new Monograph Series tastings up, including one with the wonderful Champagnes of new darling of the region Aurélien Lurquin next week.
Stay tuned for more in the coming months too, and if you have requests of winemakers we should showcase, put them in the comments.
