Walls off Washington just got a major dose of cosmic energy. We are thrilled to announce the completion of “Kranzbergville 4 Eva,” a vibrant new mural by the legendary artist, Kenny Scharf. Scharf is a pivotal figure from New York City’s 1980s East Village art scene—known for his exuberant, Pop culture-infused style, often featuring characters inspired by The Flintstones and The Jetsons. Alongside icons like Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, Scharf pioneered a ‘do-it-yourself’ practice that spans painting, sculpture, and street art. His work is all about hope, joy, and optimism, and “Kranzbergville 4 Eva” perfectly captures that spirit, bringing his signature colorful, cartoonish, and charismatic world right here to the Walls off Washington. I put together a photo walk and it went better than I could’ve imagined 🥹 thank you to all that popped out to the first @exposuretherapywalks and to @wallsoffwashington for partnering and having the space to explore 🙏🏾 We started at @highlowstl as planned, made our way down to 3333 Washington Avenue to start exploring. From there we started our Color Hunt where folks got a color to look for, we talked, and had a good time. Then we made our way to @thekey_stl 🍔🍟 while making more stops along the way. Had some great conversations s/o to @nyara.world ⭐️ Planning one for May so make sure you follow @exposuretherapywalks for when those details are ready 📸

Update: New date is April 11th at 1:30 PM. Same location. With the rain this Saturday and more it’s been decided to move the photo walk to next Saturday, April 11th at the same time and same spot. Another shift is that we’ll explore the space without the guided tour which will allow for more time to photography freely as we explore the space at @wallsoffwashington If any models would like to come out you’re welcome to pop out.
