That kind of nervous… the one that creeps up right before you step on stage, before you hit record, before you say yes to something bigger than you’ve ever done... that’s not fear. That’s life checking your pulse. Following Leroy Burgess and Saving Coco to London reminded me that after 30+ years in the game, legends still feel it. The nerves don’t disappear. They evolve. They become proof that you still care, that you’re still stretching, still honoring the moment. Comfort is quiet. Growth is loud. If you’re nervous, good. That means something real is about to happen. 🎥✨ This is a exerpt from the upcoming series, "Frequency Keepers". @brownswood @gillespeterson @boogieking1 #documentary #filmmaker #film #weoutherefestival2025 #FrequencyKeepers

Sometimes people catch glimpses of my life... Whether friends... clients.. associates.. And they think it looks effortless. But I remember when I felt trapped, questioning who I was and what I was doing. Even now, in a field that lauds "pick me" culture I still face doubts. But I’ve learned to let myself enjoy the life I’m building..work, struggle, joy, all mixed in. But here’s the thing... choosing joy, choosing self-fulfillment..that’s a choice we all have to make. And doesn't require having enuff money saved or making sure others are "okay" with it. It took me a while, but I did.. no.. i DO. And if you’re out there wishing...it’s in your hands too." #blacmasc #blacmascdoc #DocumentaryWithPurpose #directorofphotography #documentaries

The world hands you a template and demands you to stay inside the lines. They give you a shape. A tone. A way you’re supposed to move, speak, want, and become. Every day is a quiet choice: fit the mold, or feel the friction. And some days, being yourself is the hardest thing you’ll ever do. @namhimself 📷 #blacmasc #masculinity #rac #regionalartscommisionofstlouis #documentary

✨ Overflowing with gratitude as we wrap up an incredible year behind the lens! ✨ I had the honor of capturing Director of Visual Infrastructure, Gina Grafos, as she reflected on the strides made at the Kranzberg Arts Foundation and the vibrant St. Louis arts scene throughout 2025. This 'Gratitude' video is a little love letter to all the amazing artists we've had the chance to showcase. It's just a minute and a half of pure appreciation and a glimpse into what’s next for 2026. Celebrate with us! #KranzbergArts #StLouisArts #Gratitude

Walls off Washington just got a major dose of cosmic energy. We are thrilled to announce the completion of “Kranzbergville 4 Eva,” a vibrant new mural by the legendary artist, Kenny Scharf. Scharf is a pivotal figure from New York City’s 1980s East Village art scene—known for his exuberant, Pop culture-infused style, often featuring characters inspired by The Flintstones and The Jetsons. Alongside icons like Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, Scharf pioneered a ‘do-it-yourself’ practice that spans painting, sculpture, and street art. His work is all about hope, joy, and optimism, and “Kranzbergville 4 Eva” perfectly captures that spirit, bringing his signature colorful, cartoonish, and charismatic world right here to the Walls off Washington. Come down and experience the cosmic chaos and pure fun of this spectacular new addition! ➡️ Visit the Walls off Washington and see “Kranzbergville 4 Eva” today. #KennyScharf #Kranzbergville4Eva #WallsOffWashington #StreetArt #MuralArt #StLouisArt #EastVillageLegend #PopArt #NewMural #WOW #KranzbergArtsFoundation

The reception for Jackie Scharenberg’s stunning photography exhibit, “Year of the Moth,” was a night filled with atmospheric light and quiet beauty! ✨ We were honored to celebrate the St. Louis photographer known for transforming the overlooked moments of city life into cinematic scenes. Jackie’s work is a masterful study of light and darkness, pulling viewers in—like a moth to a flame—to find hope and new perspectives hidden in empty parking lots and glowing alleyways. If you missed the opening, make sure to visit “Year of the Moth” and experience the emotional weight and magical storytelling of the city’s in-between hours. #JackieScharenberg #YearOfTheMoth #STLPhotography #UrbanExploration #Atmospheric #STLArt #StLouisArtist #PhotographyExhibit
