This past Saturday, our BBBSEMO staff, mentors, and mentees spent the day serving, learning, and growing together at New Roots Urban Farm(@newrootsurbanfarm ). From volunteering around the farm and learning about fresh foods 🌽🥕 to cuddling baby bunnies 🐇 and building meaningful connections, it was a day full of smiles, service, and unforgettable moments. 🙌🏾✨
The best part? Several matches loved the experience so much, they’re already planning to come back on their own time—for fun, service hours, and continued impact. That’s the power of mentorship in action. 💫

From former Little to licensed private pilot, her story shows what can happen when mentorship, encouragement, and opportunity come together.
Through support from her Big and our Big Futures program, CaChell gained confidence, direction, and the motivation to pursue engineering and aviation dreams that are now becoming reality.
