Mr. Josh Crowell has been named Assistant Superintendent of the Year for Southeast Missouri!
He was honored at the Missouri Association of School Administrators banquet.
Mr. Crowell has dedicated his entire career to Cape Girardeau Public Schools—serving as a teacher, coach, building-level administrator, and district-level administrator. He’s also a proud CGPS graduate!

🐅 CONGRATULATIONS to one of our finest, Bruce Miller, on his appointment to the prestigious U.S. Naval Academy! What an incredible honor and a well-deserved recognition of his commitment.
Bruce credits the rigor of his classes and the variety of opportunities at Central High for helping him develop the skills necessary for this challenge.
When asked what he's most excited about for his time in Annapolis, Bruce quoted the perfect motto: "I am a firm believer that iron sharpens iron, and I think the Naval Academy embodies this philosophy perfectly."
