It was a lot of fun working with @creamsource and all of the amazing local crew to switch our setup from day to night live using image based lighting to show the fastest methods of doing commercial LED Wall VP!

Had to pivot quickly and bring in trusted collaborators to run this one without a prep day. Despite some on-set delays, the final product hit the mark. The client sought me out at the AICP event to say how much they loved it — a great reminder that the work always speaks for itself.

Think of it like how the iPad freed the gaffer — now this could liberate the VP supervisor. I’m walking around the volume, calling out settings, sensor sizes, frustum controls… and Ian’s tweaking them live, next to me. 👀

What really spun my head? He hijacked the tracking. That means major scouting potential, and more importantly — I’m no longer tied to my cart.
