I just started learning @chamsysltd then, moving away from Onyx, probably using Artnet instead of sACN. (sACN now)
Now that I own moving lights and a physical Chamsys board, maybe it’s time to revisit this test.

Congrats on the grand opening of @mayavpstudios By @erichalili@vptoolkit had the pleasure of training the in-house techs @rsmblee on workflow while also supplying custom Rocky Mountain environments for the grand opening presentation! (We love making these environments)
It was a lot of fun working with @creamsource and all of the amazing local crew to switch our setup from day to night live using image based lighting to show the fastest methods of doing commercial LED Wall VP!
Really excited to continue working with MAYA VP and see what gets made at this space!

Had to pivot quickly and bring in trusted collaborators to run this one without a prep day. Despite some on-set delays, the final product hit the mark. The client sought me out at the AICP event to say how much they loved it — a great reminder that the work always speaks for itself.

Lesson of the day: Try not to run 3 different LED studios on the same day without proper prep days.

@ianfursa came by to test out his new augmented reality VP Toolkit app — and even though it’s just the first test run, I was already blown away by the possibilities. 🔥

Think of it like how the iPad freed the gaffer — now this could liberate the VP supervisor. I’m walking around the volume, calling out settings, sensor sizes, frustum controls… and Ian’s tweaking them live, next to me. 👀

What really spun my head? He hijacked the tracking. That means major scouting potential, and more importantly — I’m no longer tied to my cart.
