Greetings earthlings.
@eartheaven_collective has been resting, seeding, and feeling around.
@voidth0t returning to orbit to introduce a steward of our pupae season.
Morgan Hayes is a multidisciplinary artist based in Richmond, VA. Her work focuses on the collaborative myth building around Black women and Black femme-presenting people in the United States. She’s inspired by the South, tricksters, doomscrolls, and collective joy and/or mourning. As we establish governance and research co-op models, Morgan has been fundamental to eartheaven’s understanding and implementation of an equity agreement.

-what ingredient (1) are you putting in the collaborative stew?
I’m putting a silliness/cuteness spice blend. Underrated but effective ingredient. Don’t need too much of it but it’s important to sprinkle it a few times throughout the cooking process.
-favorite conspiracy theory?
“They don’t want anyone to know that it’s glitter.”
-shameless plug
I’m working on a graphic novel, so in preparation for building out the story I’ve been reading a lot of Shirley Jackson and rewatching ER. Jackson’s work is a bit more evergreen and individualist than ER in my opinion but the nature of this show relies on this idea that the weight of public and personal responsibility/joy/sorrow is shared among an ensemble of people working together for a common goal. Idk if anyone else got that vibe from it but… yeah.
