Starting at 7pm, we will be hosting karaoke at Seventh Heaven for all to come, build a collective altar with us, and sing a song for someone on the other side, a song we should play at your funeral/ceremony, or a song moving you through big feelings 🤍
Singing & music as balm and medicine, death karaoke is a channeling of energy & grief. If you’ve ever missed someone & had to reach them through song, come by. Let’s grieve and laugh collectively, make music, & listen to each others’ funeral dirges 🪽🌀⛲️

the sanitation foundation trash academy has classes on nyc's dense history of waste management practices, sustainability efforts, and what citizens can do to help.
what do these things all have in common?
we all make waste, make things, expend energy, and need a place to rest; we need each other and a future; we have to be crafty, resourceful, and determined to make things WORK! so i'm excited to keep being in these things that i care about and want to continue sharing how interconnected they seem. to me, this is the only way forward!

we are
raising funds to fix the windows on the house made in 1840, build a sauna, a weather resistant geodome and establish a small farm on the 3acres of land. 2 V link in bio
We are applying for grants but in the meantime would like community support!
“In 2022, I used what I’ve learned in my time as a land steward and herbalist to create a healing space for my community and myself. After the initial effort I took time to learn, grow, and develop the connections and community that have helped me to create eartheaven. As a Black centered healing community nestled in the Catskills, I’m grateful and proud to re-engage in this work with friends and connections who maintain inclusivity, playfulness, organization, fairness, and kindness as their guiding principles. I know with their help eartheaven will have the same principles guiding it.
Today marks the first day of raising funds for eartheaven, a Black-centered eco haven and worldbuilding space. We hope to operate at the intersection of land justice, political education, art education, and communal learning and growth. I hope that you can contribute what you can to what has been a lifelong dream of communal prosperity and development.”
