Vertigo is proud to announce Necessity, our debut physical release from Perth/Boorloo electronic duo Ezines, available March 20th.  Necessity is a sleazy, pressure-driven club record, built on a balance of short, immediate ideas and long-term structural development. Across four original tracks and a remix — Dissolve, Necessity, Pacer, Ekspres, and Necessity (Liquid Earth Heaven ’N’ Hell Dub) — Ezines balance instant impact with slow-burn momentum, allowing tracks to hit fast before stretching into longer, more patient forms. The EP thrives on tension, repetition, and release, shaped equally by instinct, live performance, and hands-on studio refinement. Slide 2- Dissolve Slide 3- Necessity Slide 4- Pacer Slide 5- Ekspres Slide 6- Necessity (Liquid Earth Heaven n Hell Mix) Vinyl Exclusive Slide 7- Necessity (Breathless in the Club Mix) Digital Exclusive Pre-Orders available now via our amazing distributor @oneyewitness or via our Bandcamp store. VERTIGO 015 | GWEEDUS Before hopping the Nullarbor and abandoning Boorloo for the eastern front, Gweedus & the Vertiboys had a long lineage of collaboration across a series of particularly productive parties with Max’s event series @stepcountevents . Since moving to Naarm, Max has continued this run of rambunctious parties, hosting some of the city’s hottest artists. Nourished by the same rich soils of minimal tech and facilitating dance, you could say Max and Vertigo go together like kick and snare, making his entry in our mix series long overdue. Serving up an audible feast; scorching hot and spinning off the plate, we hope you enjoy his delicious selection of tunes as much as we do in this hour of waxy goodness. Live, loud and waiting on the cloud.

Vertigo presents: Up! Late! with Noizar (UA) & XDB (DE). To celebrate our 3rd birthday in style we’ve brought over a double header of European heavyweights for a Good Friday warehouse party for the ages. Come join us at our new favourite party spot for a night of fun, freedom and great music. Noizar @wickedbass is a Ukrainian DJ and longtime resident of Kyiv’s iconic Closer club, now based in Amsterdam. Known for his sharp, groove-driven style and precise vinyl-focused approach, he is also the founder of the Wicked Bass label, which showcases both Ukrainian and international artists. Through standout solo sets and memorable b2b performances with Borys—often closing nights at Closer—Noizar helped shape the distinctive atmosphere that made the club globally respected. His detailed selections and technical mixing have taken him to dancefloors around the world, from Tokyo and Seoul to Berlin, Paris and Tbilisi, where his sound moves fluidly beyond conventional house and techno, blending broken rhythms with rich, layered melodies. Kosta Athanassiadis, aka @kostaxdb , is a German-born DJ and producer of Greek heritage who has been active in the underground electronic music scene since the early 1990s. Originally from Göttingen, he began DJing while working in a record shop and later founded the Metrolux label in 2006, gaining wider recognition through releases like the Jackintosh EP. Known for his deep, genre-blurring productions and carefully curated vinyl DJ sets, XDB has performed across more than 35 countries and at respected festivals such as Labyrinth and Freerotation. With releases on labels including Sistrum, Ferox and Dial Records—where his debut album Inspiron landed in 2020—he has built a reputation for understated quality, musical depth and impeccable selection. Along with these two European kings we have our favourite Boorloo purveyors of parties @circuit.central_ (@brie.beurre & @scam_wife ) joining the lineup to get our party started the right way. We couldn’t think of anyone better to set the mood for a marathon of vinyl goodness. Artwork: @trcctrl This Event is BYO. Location will be sent out to ticketholders on the day.

Introducing our guest for our 15th edition of our mix series: @rasaaq Rasaaq is the product of an upbringing in diaspora, splitting time between the coasts of Nigeria and the United States. Approaching DJing as a world-building art, he moves between genres with ease to create spaces where dancing is not a choice, but a calling. As resident of the rising Sojourn Boston, he’s establishing himself as one of the ascending American talents in next generation of dedicated diggers and story tellers, capturing attention domestically and abroad. In this mix, Rasaaq weaves through dusty tech house, driving disco, pitched down chuggers, and cheeky electro - all the while capturing the cosmic aura he finds comfort in. Sit down and sink in, or stand up and shuffle - the choice is yours. Mix is live over on the Vertigo Soundcloud, link is in our bio!

Vertigo presents our late night warehouse series. Come stay UP! LATE! with @liquidearthliquidlove & our selection of Boorloos finest musical selectors. Liquid Earth produces a uniquely trans-atlantic sound blending the rhythmic depth of London and Berlin with the sun soaked sleaze of his Californian roots. Pulling from ‘90s deepness and ‘00s groove his production feels like it sits outside time taking elements of the past to soundtrack the clubs (and warehouses) of the future. We’ve brought together an elite lineup of local supports: @connor___gibbons @ezinesmusic (Live) @ephacy_ and @monteaubeurre Artwork by @oli.svg BYO, Address will be sent out on the night. We wish to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we work and operate, the Whadjuk Noongar people. We honour the Whadjuk Noongar people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work and offer our respect to Elders past, present and emerging. For our 11th edition, we welcome a name that needs no introduction to anyone who’s been moving on the dancefloors of Boorloo over the past 8 years. Lala has cemented themselves as a force within the local scene, known for eclectic selections and deep energy behind the decks. Much like their regular appearances on RTRFM, this mix is packed with highly produced, percussive bass and house—the kind that worms its way into your head and leaves you no choice but to move. Perfect listening for a late-night drive, maybe even on the way to a certain festival this weekend. The mix is live now over on our Soundcloud!
