31.1.26–> for the first cab home for the year we’re cruising into a puritanically LIVE event that skirts the edges of music you know, love and have never heard before.
Over at CC HQ we are still pinching ourselves that the kernel of the eve should be Artificial (a.k.a Nicole Skeltys), an artist who has released across the temporal and aural plane. We’ve experienced her projects as feeling out liminal sounds; serenely staunch IDM, acidic boppers and tinkling jingles to have you twirling into the early morning. You may have crossed paths with her music under the guise of B(if)tek (with Kate Crawford), an essential staple of nineties & noughties Aus. It’s true that tweeny Circuit Central was raised on nothing but a Saturday morning bowl of cornflakes and an endless loop of Biffers on Rage.
There’s too much to say about the special musicians who will be sewing the sonic quilt before Artificial. Lia T & Lyndon Blue will teach us new things about the viola, a presumed dubbed out exploration of Basic Mind with Clouds Come Rain, the syrupy hip shakers of Blood Knows, and a moment pouring one out for our favourite kind of surface with Dedicated Floor.
As always, loving you all too much for gassing up these events- we’re taking a temporary pause from parties after this one so would love to give you all a big squeeze on the 31st @ PS.

27.12.25—> against all odds we’ve made it to the final episode of our psycho saison. As the year takes its last breaths we deliver our concluding gift of 2025, the double trouble of Karine & Shakolin.
Training on the fertile soil of the Ukrainian scene, these two deejays are independently known for their impeccable style and warm energy. Together, they ascend through love as the Minimal Overlords™️ of tweaked and funky trax. We’ve heard rumours that the 27th holds a five hour masterclass of percussive stompers under that low slung warehouse ceiling.
On opening duties is local legend and fellow schemer, Mobias. Allegedly he’s in possession of some classy clicks, clacks & beyond to lubricate your joints.
Should you successfully complete your eight hour good behaviour bond, Brie & Jaz will round out this session of couples therapy into the (???) hours of the morning.

13.12.25–> HICHAM
After an indelible première voyage to Australia last year, Hicham is back for round two.
For those who aren’t already besotted after the idiosyncratic 2024 warehouse stomp (!) Hicham is a tireless and obsessed digger who found his first love in the raves of Brussels. He constructs vast and enduring synaesthetic vistas of 80s and 90s analog influences, leaving dancers with no choice but to be totally seduced by Hicham’s sound. It’s a known pleasure to watch him diligently navigate the spaces between the ethereal and eccentric...joyful, gritty, expansive.
On December 13th 17:00, we will be locking into a five hour exchange with Hicham as the sun sets over the limestone bricks of Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre’s inner courtyard.
Tickets available via Oztix.

Many a fantastical party had down under the old Swan Hotel… Let it be known, the time has finally come for another! The passionate Europhiles at Backtrack, Circuit Central, and Oochie Koochie represent the Perth Massive with: Loose Strands, an extendo afternoonvning of uncut adventure at the loudest basement in town; a triple header of travelling wax wizards hailing from The Continent’s best kept secret… The wet and wild lands of Belgium.
Belgium fries low and slow under the global radar. Beneath the muted skies and down the cobbled streets, burning away within her gritty heartland stands the utterly inconspicuous city of Brussels. Centuries of serious celebration have imbued her with an intangible zest… pizzazz… magic. Musical artefacts not-found-on-YouTube flow through town like space through time, and on the fringes - though central to it all - a devout circle of collectors pluck, pick, and place these supernatural spinning plates at the city’s frequent dance music rituals.
Straight from the source, DJ Rino and Kuba’97 make their debut on our red dirt, accompanied by good friend and West Coast favourite, Walrus, back for seconds! Three of the heads behind the most notorious Brusselian ceremony, Beautiful Freaks, ready to make good on their Austral Summer. Come and indulge yourself in three bags full of their exceptionally well researched tastes.
We can only hope you’re as excited as they are. This is one for the boeken.

HICHAM (FRANCE)
Circuit Central is thrilled to bring Hicham and his indelible sound to a warehouse near you, supported by none other than the nucleus of the Perth scene, Ben Taaffe.
Hicham is a tireless and obsessed digger who has cultivated his idiosyncratic talent in the global scene, after first falling in love with raves in Brussels. He is known to paint vast synaesthetic vistas of 80s and 90s analog influences- this leaves dancers with no choice but to be totally captivated and seduced by Hicham’s sound. On October 19th, we are sure he will shepherd us through a dynamic narrative as we gradually slip into the lucid dream that is a set from Hicham.
Tickets are extremely limited, you will pinch yourself if you miss this 🌀 22:00 ’til infinity…🕳️
This is a ticketed event only and ticket buyers will receive an email on the day of the event of the location —>

24.8.24 —> Circuit Central enters Princess Chambers together with @wise_child_wine_store for a dance in the coveted laneway, while Gloopa and Cooper Cooper guide you through the night. Doors from 19:00, very limited capacity. Be sure to get your tickets, link in bio. See you this Saturday.

United in sonic masonry, Circuit Central is celebrating @jesseeleejohns latest project: Prestige Bricks. Jessee is the anomaly that has built temples, post offices, a commonwealth and resorts. In another feat of his ingenuity, he has built Prestige Bricks. A humble brick store tucked behind Old Customs House.
Join us in the laneway from 18:00 on Saturday the 29th of June. $20 entry on the door, very limited space.
Our first craftsperson: Toni Yotzi. Last seen in town at The Bird for a crushing b2b with DJ Fart in the Club. What will she prime our ears with next…Tech house? Breakbeat? Jungle? We’ll see what the Dawn Sports boss has in store for us, fresh from the shores of Bali. But Boorloo is pretty cold right now, so we trust two masons of the local scene will warm things up quite nicely; Lia T & Basic Mind.
The beers are cheap ($6!), the DJs are right and you can sm*ke on the dancefloor... deduct that $20 from the Euro Summer Fund and we’ll see you on the floor at Prestige Bricks.
