Yesterday, we tried again to pass a War Powers Resolution to rein in this war that Trump started — this war that’s driving up the cost of fuel and everyday goods for the American people who are hurting. It failed in a tie.
Today, I filed my own War Powers Resolution — we’re going to keep pushing because more Republicans are coming over to this side, calling for the conflict to end, calling for the costs to go down, & calling for this president to stop acting so irresponsibly on the local, domestic, and international stage.

DOGE fired civil rights attorneys at the Department of Education, and it took Secretary McMahon 10 months to hire them back. The result: a massive backlog of cases and students having to endure unimaginable situations without assistance from the Department charged with protecting them.
Americans want national parks. Not a ballroom most will never get to use. Yesterday, I asked Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum if he had ever stood up to Trump for cutting a billion from national parks while spending the same amount on a ballroom. He refused to answer. I think that speaks for itself.
