The opening of " The Geography of Memory " @ Canvas Gallery. The works reflect on themes of displacement , memory , nostalgia and the power of observation as an outsider , looking inwards. Originally from Pakistan , the participating artists ; Mustafa Mohsin , Noormah Jamal , Ruby Chishti and Usaydh Agha are currently based in the UK and USA . The exhibition remains open daily until Thursday , May 14th 2026 , from 11 am - 7 pm ( Sundays closed )

Through his work he explores the history and politics of the region, the place and origin of violence in society, and the development of the diasporic identity. His work is both a response to classical western painting and the history of Orientalism. For over 20 years exhibitions have been held at Terrace Studios, Patchworks, a reclaimed wasteland, a pub back room, a Library and now back where it all began. More than 100 exhibitions have been held showing works by over 1000 Artists including Matthew Collings, Bob and Roberta Smith, David Leapman, Mali Morris and Eddie Peake.
