i designed and made this lamp inspired by my friend’s obsession with one particular song.
i wanted to give them a housewarming present and a lamp was a perfect gift. i also wanted to make it personal to them, using the song that tells their story.
i put the song through a sound wave generator and designed the bars on and base off a snapshot of sound waves at the most poignant part of the song.
i enjoy the warm glow(house warming eh?) from it, it is cozy and modern and maybe classic idk etc.

first, i should have given this a name. the Superform module @idecourse resulted in me making a playful, incredibly comfy(🙂) chair/stool made out of footballs and tubular bandages. following the brief of the me factory, the result is a playful modular piece that can be taken apart and reshuffled/restacked to the users creative taste. the footballs and tubular bandage can be sourced from anywhere creating giving the chair its own micro factory. let’s not forget sustainability too(if you’re using recycled balls)
