A huge Thank You to Architectural Digest!! I am really honored to be included in Architectural Digest’s list of go to interior stylists. ♥️ I’ve admired several of the creatives on this list for quite some time and to be included is pretty surreal. Styling…especially getting to work with photographers, florist, artists, and other interior designers outside of my role as a lead designer is such a fun part of what I do. It’s a special opportunity to step into a space at that final moment and help bring the story of the design to life in front of the camera… it’s just really fun. Big congratulations and cheers to all the other stylists on the list. Truly honored to be in your company 🤍🕊️ Words by: @diana_b TSD Photography: @josephgbradshaw

Found this photo this morning as I was looking back searching for inspiration for an upcoming project. With Thanksgiving here it seems fitting. I never shared this photo likely because of the whirlwind of emotions around having to let go of this home…and at the time I felt it wasn’t a true representation of how I felt. Here I look proud and strong …and the truth would have looked more like me in a puddle of tears on that front stoop in sweats I had on for days filled with rushing insecurities about a future I had not planned on …letting go of the dreams and hopes I had built (physically & in my head) —- jump to 3 years later and I look at this and if I could put words to the feelings I have now when I stare at it…they would be thankfulness, perseverance, hope, desire, motivation, & maybe a jealousy for the length of my hair here 😜 (something I believe was one plus about being on well water). I know sometimes someone standing in front of a nice home can stir things in folks—-I know things are things and a home does not have to be extravagant or uber big & beautiful for it to be photo worthy…These are shells and what makes up our homes and makes them actually come to life are the people and love that fill it. I guess the main point of posting this would be to share the hope I have… life is hard and things happen that feel unfair and dismantle everything you have been building. But we are resilient …and ground zero can be a good place to start dreaming again. No, I haven’t yet found or built another home for myself… and my new dreams and hopes for my future home are still in baby phases but I’m laying new foundation —- and right now getting the opportunity to help others dream and build their home shells is the most fun & one of the best feelings in the world. Very thankful for it all. Thank you @josephgbradshaw for capturing this. 🕊️🕊️

New styling for @archdigest 🕊️ It was such a pleasure to work with Architectural Digest and Justin March styling Kane and Katelyn Brown’s beautiful home. Their home is everything you’d hope for...warm, inviting, and made for family and gathering. Truly the sweetest family and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of this shoot. Feeling nostalgic this morning and missing the farm. Around this time, the mornings were beginning to get crisp. I would sit, sipping my coffee, staring into this back field, emptying my mind and creating space for the new. The roses and the magnolias were giving their last blooms, and the poplars, which we had a ton of, were beginning to lose their golden leaves. We had a band of bucks, eight of them, that each year would make their slow parade through. Unhurried, they would stay for about an hour meandering, looking for persimmons and whatever else they could find to munch. Sometimes I would play in my garden beds…other times I would walk down to the spring with Ranger, my black lab. We would watch the water pour out from the side of the hill. There is so much about this place that I love, and these memories…so sacred to me. Simple and sacred. They aren’t flashy, but they carry ritual and rhythm…teaching me to empty out, create space, and begin again. I never want to lose them. 🕊️🕊️ Photographer: @josephgbradshaw

On Thursday night I was honored to welcome a team of amazing humans for an intimate dinner as we shared the heart and soul behind Her Campaign. An organization leading a mission that is ushering in freedom and treatment for women affected by sex trafficking. The vision is to plant a home here in Nashville that will become a refuge and bridge for many women enslaved by the evil of human trafficking. It will stand in the gap between rescue and long term care for these women. This is just the beginning here in Nashville and Williamson County. An invite to come alongside, learn more, get involved where you can, and see women freed from slavery. See @hercampaign and stay tuned for more events so you can get involved🕊️

Well…Here I am. Sitting in a closet. In the throes of prepping for another sweet Dasher Market, in the center of a town I have grown to love with My whole heart, Leipers Fork. The opportunity to host the market literally landed in my lap and came as a side gift after I was hired to design the future store that will be opening in this space in 2026. One conversation led to another and…knowing that renovations wouldn’t begin until later this summer, it became so clear that while waiting to open Bentontown, we shouldn’t let this space sit empty. The heartbeat of Leipers Fork is community, creativity & music. It is a place that has always carried a cadence that whispers “there is something so special here, I can’t quite put it to words…but I feel it, and I hear it, and it moves me…it’s different, and I want to linger here”. To me that speaks of the hearts of the people in this town. The creatives, the musicians, the locals who have grown up here, (all who frequent the community table at country boy, or the patio tables at Fox and Locke), those who have poured their hearts time, vision, and mind and resources into preserving the beautiful land around the village…the passion of the artists and writers who have spent time here…all planting their seeds that have helped to grow such a gem of a town. One that beckons a slow down. So we are jumping at the opportunity to create more community and experience and have opened up the space to some amazing brands, artists, designers, and creatives for the next two months. Hats off to everyone in retail because this is no joke. But it is fun and getting to meet and work with so many creatives is what makes me the happiest. That, and coffee..and chocolate…and labs. :) We are so excited to open the Spring Market doors at D A S H E R. If you follow @dasherleipersfork you can get updates on all the vendors that will be here throughout the 10 weeks and some special shows as well!! 🕊️🕊️🕊️
