Fisher Weisman introduces Florenz and Millicent—sculptural lighting marked by refined elegance, intricate detailing, and a quiet sense of movement. Each piece balances statement-making presence with airy restraint, designed to feel as intentional as it is expressive.

Perched high above Palm Springs in the Desert Palisades neighborhood, the latest @sunsetmag Idea House is a homage to desert modernism. Originally envisioned by architectural legend Donald Wexler in the 1960s and reimagined by Lance O’Donnell of @o2architecture , the showstopper is both a tribute and a fresh take, with clean lines, thoughtful materials, and seamless indoor-outdoor living. Each space opens to the landscape beyond, where form and function come together with ease—while landscape lighting beautifully illuminates the outdoor rooms after dark.
“A lot of houses with beautiful landscapes will be sited to favor one room or another with the best view,” says O’Donnell. “But not this house. No matter what bedroom you’re in, you’re seeing the desert in all its glory.”
Landscape lighting: Ikon Outdoor Step Light, Cora Directional Spotlight with 50 Cutoff Shroud, & Shaver 16" Fixed 180 Aperture In-Grade Light
