As we move into a new quarter, our coffee offerings will shift towards a singular focus - Ecuador.
This season, we’ll be featuring coffees by @cafexporto and Juan Peña, long-time partners of our roastery, across our espresso and filter menu. Expect classic Ecuadorian varietals such as Sidra and Typica Mejorado, alongside rotating premium selections under our 'Barista Select' menu.
We look forward to sharing these coffees with you.

Coffee has always been at the heart of Transparent Coffee.
From direct sourcing through our sister roastery, @onehalfroastery , to grinding and brewing each cup right in front of you — it’s been our daily rhythm here in the corner of Kampung Attap. A space where we’ve had the joy of fueling neighbours, friends, artists, families, and coffee enthusiast who wander through our doors.
Like the seasonality of coffee — and of life — people move, grow, and find new places to call home, even if just for a while.
And now, ours has a small space to fill again.
We’re looking for a new hand (and heart) behind the bar — someone who does more than brew or clean, but brings warmth, presence, and a smile to welcome our patrons, even if it’s just for a cup’s worth of time.

If you’ve been with us for a while, you may have noticed some changes. From this month onwards, our menu will rotate quarterly with focus on one single origin each time. This approach allows us to work more closely with coffee’s seasonality while highlighting terroir, processing, & time to create beverage profiles for truly exclusive lots.
For Q1, we’re sharing an auction lot enjoyed exclusively in Store: MSA-1 from @alocoffee.et , part of the Echoes of the Peak auction. Roasted by @onehalfroastery and sourced by @triupcoffee_sea .
A quieter way of working alongside harvest timelines and a closer collaboration with One Half Roastery, brought altogether by Brand Designer @koyoox in the same space we’ve called home for years.

We’re incredibly grateful to collaborate with @wcyann , whose poetic installation daydreams 花梦, 2025 invites us into a world where Christmas unfolds softly—layered with memories, wonder, and quiet surprises. From snowy fairytale scenes to playful details that hint at the coming Chinese New Year, the artwork beautifully blends seasons, cultures, and joy into one magical moment.
Even here in warm Malaysia, this piece reminds us that we can still pause, imagine snow, and drift into stories and dreams.

Our shelves have been thoughtfully replenished for the holidays with ceramic pieces from @1616aritajapan . This year, we’ve also assembled a set featuring a ceramic coaster and cup from the S&B “Colour Porcelain” series, a quiet, understated gift for those who appreciate craftmanship and unique silhouette. It’s available for our patrons to bring home at a special seasonal rate.

CMA Clay is a 47-piece porcelain dinnerware collection, created in close collaboration with porcelain manufacturer 1616/arita japan and three carefully selected ceramic workshops based in the town of Arita.
The collection is the product of three years of dedicated work and dialogue — shaped through hundreds of hand-drawn sketches, 3D models, 2D drawings, mock-ups, prints, and countless porcelain prototypes.
