The important Senufo Bird sculpture, deaccessioned from the @walkerartcenter ’s collection, was purchased at auction. The bronze Benin head was acquired on my first visit to Marrakech in 2018 with @archdigest , and the large Ammonite fossil was a gift from my parents.

A group of artworks by Robert Loughlin, part of a larger collection, hang in my personal office in our New York studio. Above a work table, an African Songye Kifwebe Mask hangs with a drawing by Jean Cocteau alongside a portrait by my friend Jake Courtois. Vintage furnishings are by Ico Parisi, Herman Miller and Marcel Breuer.
