"Dior: Memories of Childhood" is now available in French and in English in Europe! The essential book revealing how Christian Dior's childhood at Villa Les Rhumbs in Granville shaped his creativity, his couture vision, and the iconic House of Dior. This volume traces how Dior's hometown became fertile ground for his talent and gave rise to the House of Dior. It showcases the links between his childhood garden and the floral-inspired designs; it examines how Grandville social life - from summer fĂŞtes to its carnival - fired his imagination for evening ball gowns; and shows the influence of seaside fashion of the era. Featuring rare archives, photography by great masters, and emblematic creations by successive artistic directors, the book illuminates the origins of Dior and the visionary spirit that continues to guide the House today under creative director Jonathan Anderson. The book accompanies the exhibition "Christian Dior: Memories of Childhood" at @museediorgranville from April 4th to November 1st, 2026. @dior @rizzolibooks Text by @laurencebenaim 2: Christian Dior in the garden at the Villa Les Rhumbs, Granville, c. 1915. 3, 5, 6, 7, 8: Photographs by @lazizhamani 4: Photograph by @davidsimsofficial

“Architecture for Culture: Rethinking Museums” is now available worldwide! In “Architecture for Culture”, Béatrice Grenier @beatrice.grenier rethinks and reinterprets one of the most important and innovative typologies of recent decades: the museum. This book demonstrates why museums remain essential: as guardians of knowledge and heritage, as anchors that give cities meaning, and as places where art remain a vivid part of daily life. More than repositories, they are spaces where architecture refines its dialogue and where new cultural ideas are tested. @rizzolibooks 1.
