🎤 ARTIST TALK with Kirk Fanelly 💐 📅 May 28, 6–8 PM, talk at 6:30 PM 📍 Mint Museum Uptown 🎟 FREE admission Contemporary artist Kirk Fanelly (@kirkfanelly ) joins Mint Chief Curator and Curator of Contemporary Art Jen Sudul Edwards, PhD (@curatorjen ), to discuss his “Constellation CLT” installation, “What do we have here?” His scenes start in recognizable places like a backyard, a garage, or an ordinary street. Then something strange slips in. Fanelly takes these odd, cinematic moments and spins them into funny, slightly mischievous visual stories. They’re playful, a little dark, and full of narrative possibility. Fanelly’s "Constellation CLT" installation brings together 25 years of his work, from prints and inlaid cut paper to paintings and three-dimensional constructions. The installation invites viewers to step closer, look around, and come up with their own explanation for what’s happening and what might happen next. 📸 Video content courtesy of the artist.
