Hey Lady, it’s your birthday today! I really thought I was more prepared for this day but my heart literally hurts today. But only for selfish reason, I want to tell you Happy birthday, I want to giggle, I want to hear that laugh again.
My mom was literally the best person in this world, she taught me so much and cared for me unconditionally Never a day goes by when we don’t talk or just connect.
We were not perfect but perfect for each other. A queen reigns and shows love and til the end of time I’ll always know her as a Queen. My first heartbeat goes for her but this life I’m living is definitely for us.
Thank you everyone for the love, text, and gifts. And to my village I’m so glad that my mom loved all yall to no end and just know we always will sing #LLA 💙
Honestly, no words or feelings can truly prepare you for the day you lose a mother. But I can say that she lived well, and the legend has officially earned her wings—she can now rest and enjoy her retirement!
My mom and I shared countless conversations about how hard she worked and how she was truly experiencing and valuing life in a way I could only dream of. She was loving, caring, and passionate through everything. She made all her dreams come true, and I was fortunate to be there with her every single day.
These last few days have grounded me like never before, knowing she is finally resting and watching over me and our family always. She was the life of the party, and you better believe I’m ready to keep living big and bold—just for her!
There is no heaviness in my heart. Mom, you showed me that life is worth living. Even if you’re not always the one people notice in the room, always make sure your bills are paid, you’ve saved some money, and you buy what you want.
Knowing my mom is more than just loving her—if she touched your life, made you smile at our events, or even in passing, drop a “💙” and continue to show my forever lady some love.
