Make sure the artist is actually there and working.
Second best?
Only send deposits through legit methods (like Square) after you’ve talked directly to them.
If they’re asking for Venmo, CashApp, or “friends & family”… that’s your red flag 🚩
Don’t get played. Protect your money.
