Feeling really hyped for 2026 and the premiere of this beautiful documentary.
Created by Byron Vincent with art direction and animation from us, this deep dive into the psychogeography of Istanbul explores how its frenetic streets have a synergy with the neurodivergent brain.
It is really something special, and we are looking forward to sharing some clips with you all soon.
Supported by incredible unlimited and the British council
This morning we did the @ridewithgps #cuttycapchallenge on our tandem like a pair of top tier nerds. We missed out on the first couple of ninhol caps by mere minutes before finally bagging one from @condorcycles . Feeling powerful from our victory we headed to Spitalfields to flex like winners. But who should keep the cap? How do we decide? @katharine_lazenby has suggested a mixed martial arts Kumite style tournament in which we fight until one of us is incapacitated but my tiddlywinks game is absolute 🔥 lately so it could go either way.
The arts is a bin fire, but if like me you’re council estate raised and somehow carved out a career in this industry, you’ll already be used to adapting to unfamiliar roles. After the arts apocalypse it’ll just be working class artists and AI cockroaches left wandering the ruins clutching half-written funding applications and Mac projector adapters.
Don’t get me wrong, I often curse being an arts freelancer. Frequently berate my younger self for not learning a trade like literally every adult in my life advised me to. But the weird thing about building a career that’s essentially a precarious house of cards made entirely out of side hustles is that some of those innumerable jobs turn out to be brilliant.
When I’m not making films or writing, I run @disconeurotico . An events company that puts on art parties for people who may otherwise feel excluded from club culture.
This weekend we took Disco Neurotico to @thisnewgrounduk Pivot Fest at @aspexportsmouth — a bold, joyful, boundary-pushing learning disabled arts festival. We travelled down with a tiny team: myself, @djstefmo and our outstanding Playmaker @sfre
The audience were beautiful and we did our very best to match their energy.
I feel very lucky to be part of events like this. It’s funny that at 51 I get to DJ in all kinds of exciting places, but I’d take something like this over a Shoreditch club night any day of the week.
Events like this feel meaningful. They feel like a dialogue rather than a performance. A huge amount of that was down to Simone, who has this incredible ability to make a room feel immediately welcoming, playful and connected. Having a fantastic audience doesn’t hurt either so well done Pivot Fest for bringing your A game.Â
Thanks for having us and to everyone who made it happen. We had a grand old time. Thanks to @joe_watson_photography for the great photos.
We recently spent the day filming at London Museum for our new Digital Installation Commission, won with the brilliant @themightybuzzard

The In Between is a playful documentary conversation between UK artist Byron Vincent (AuDHD) and Turkish architect-academic Elif Simge Fettahoğlu-Özgen (ADHD). Shot in Istanbul, it explores late neurodivergent diagnosis, masking, time weirdness and the messy liminal space between neurotypical and neurodivergent worlds. The clip features animation from our amazing collaborator @plumefilms and lush synth score by Sam Wingrave
