2026 Cutty Caps have arrived! This year, we handed the canvas to Brazilian illustrator ninhol to bring his vibrant flowing style to life. A fresh look and energy for a growing collection of cutty caps.
As a bonus, we also brought back the classic logo cap this year!
Want to get your hands on one of the limited edition caps?
HOW IT WORKS ⬇️
On May 16th, caps go out into the wild across 38 cities. We’ll email a link to the map. You hop on your bike, ride to the caps, and claim yours. First come, first served. That’s it. No catch, no fine print. Just you, your bike, and a city full of hidden caps waiting to be found.
6️⃣ Six years in… how many caps do YOU have?
Special shout out to @headdy_original for always delivering on bringing the artwork and caps to the world!
West Virginia just got an epic new curated route network and we’re so excited to host all 66 routes on Ride with GPS.
🏕️The Appalachian mountains of the Mon are home to a diverse landscape of high spruce plateaus, deep river valleys, remote backcountry, and thousands of miles of pristine gravel roads.
* Routes from 10 miles to 600 miles for a total of 4,800 miles of routes
* Gradual rail-trail grades to challenging routes full of steep Appalachian climbs
* 11 Signature Bikepacking Routes and even more overnighter options
* 12 ‘Ride to the Mon’ routes linking surrounding regional hubs and trails such as the Great Allegheny Passage and the C&O Canal into the network
* Collections of routes from each of the 12 Mon Forest Towns
☕ Most routes pass through at least one of the twelve Mon Forest Towns, offering opportunities to resupply, grab a meal, or spend the night before heading back into the mountains.
👏 Huge shout out to the groups that brought this network to life. Head over to RWGPS, save a collection or two, and start planning your next trip to WV!

Welcome to PART 1 (of 3) — Paris to Mussoorie by Bicycle. Originally ridden in 1972 on 10-speeds, Jon Jantzen retraced the 10,050km/6,281mi and 6 month journey from France to India, rebuilt it as a Ride With GPS collection of routes, and shared extensive trip notes from his daily journals and photos in a 3 part series. Truly epic. The full Ride Report is available at the link in our bio, but here’s a slide by slide glimpse, with words by Jon.
1. The start at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Jon is on the left, Paul is on the right.
2. Buying bikes at the Gitane shop in Paris.
3. We bought Gitane 10-speed road bicycles and bicycle bags in Paris.
4. The scenic French countryside and a campsite in a cow pasture. The tent was a 2 lb 10 oz Stephenson tent.
5. Farmers in the Rhône River valley south of Lyon.
6. The beautiful Mediterranean coast.
7. Italy - A campsite found after dark. Another campsite near Passo dei Giovi. We cooked with only 2 cookpots - a red teapot and a small saucepan.
8. Yugoslavia (modern day Croatia and Montenegro) - At one point we crossed a fjord by boat.
9. The tire that made it 2,200 kilometers and a friendly family near Klenovica that took us in for the night when we were wet and cold.
10. Life on the Dalmatian coast.
11. The rain caused us problems, but the scenery was fabulous
12+13. The high mountains of Montenegro.
14. Up the Morača River gorge and to the Monastir Morački, and a near disastrous accident resulted in a front wheel twisted into a figure 8!
15. Mt. Olympus in northern Greece, and a fisherman in Poros.
16. Friends in Greece — Two Canadian bicyclists, Fred and Joanne, in Kavala, and scenes near Komotini.

Lost Dot 101 // Alleycat
Organised by Race Reporter Sophie Potter (@sophiepotter ) for some light-hearted shenanigans before the nerves kicked in, riders gathered yesterday afternoon for a mini alleycat in a public park on the eastern edge of Santiago de Compostela’s historic centre. Completing prescribed tasks in groups while navigating the city by bike, riders were instructed to eat a donut, recreate the Spanish flag, find some pilgrims, and spot Camino shells, among a list of other tasks that could be completed as creatively as desired.
New connections were made, and the all-FLINTA ridership came out to play for some much-needed downtime after travelling from far and wide.

🛤️ Longest ride: 60 miles (Lamoille Rail Trail)
⛰️ Average climb: 1,000 ft per 10 miles

🎨 Shout out to Tom B. of Colorado who converted all 90+ routes into one colorful Ride with GPS collection. A work of art!
