We are absolutely thrilled to share with you the ‘Dear God, the Parthenon is still broken,’ the first photography monograph by the renowned director @_yorgos_lanthimos_ , published by @photo_void   Mastering the art of the photographic lens this time, the awarded and internationally acclaimed film director invites us to enter his creative universe in a whole new light. Featuring shots that drift between black and white and colour, reality and fiction, and captured during the filming of ‘Poor Things’, ‘Dear God, the Parthenon is still broken’ is a book that inhabits a separate world, untethered from time and place. The @miet.cultural_foundation , celebrating 60 years of presence and contribution to Greek society, is organizing an exhibition at the welcoming space of the @thebenakimuseum . Hard cover with black foil and dust jacket. 7 a.m. — 3 p.m. are the working hours of the Greek public sector, where Michalis worked as a young man in the 1990s. His day job as a technician at the Ministry of Commerce gave him the opportunity to develop his photographic prowess with an insider’s point of view into a world which, though much maligned, has rarely been captured on film. Through mountains of paperwork, clouds of cigarette smoke, and a labyrinth of austere office spaces, what shines through in Michalis’s photos, is the humanity of his former colleagues. In moments of concentration, boredom, exasperation, and celebration, the bureaucrats we all love to blame for everything, become our friends, our relatives, ourselves.

I am super happy with @michaelrathmayr new book Remedy, designed by @leetesche printed and overseen by @thefutureformat and @imarkakis I saw it for the first time yesterday after working on it with Lee and Michael for a year and it defied my expectations. Everything to plan. Remedy is about Amalienbad, a red Viennese socialist pool and bathhouse who turns 100 in 2026. Michael captured its essence, architecture and patrons brilliantly.
