Η φωτογραφική σειρά Γκάζι (1982-1984) παρουσιάστηκε για πρώτη φορά το 1985 και έκτοτε αποτελεί ένα από τα πιο συνεκτικά φωτογραφικά ντοκουμέντα της νεότερης αθηναϊκής ιστορίας.
Σήμερα, 41 χρόνια μετά, επανέρχεται όχι ως νοσταλγική αναφορά, αλλά ως ενεργό πεδίο ανάγνωσης: ένα αρχείο που φέρει μέσα του τον άνθρωπο, την εμπειρία της εργασίας, την υλικότητα του χώρου και τη μετάβαση από τη βιομηχανική στη μεταβιομηχανική πόλη.
Η έκθεση φωτίζει μια Αθήνα που δεν είναι πλέον ορατή, αλλά επιμένει μέσα στα ίχνη και τις μεταμορφώσεις της.

The photographic series Gasworks (1982-1984) was first presented in 1985 and has since stood as one of the most cohesive visual documents of contemporary Athenian history.
Today, 41 years later, it returns not as a nostalgic reference, but as an active field of inquiry: an archive that holds within it the human presence, the experience of labour, the materiality of space, and the transition from the industrial to the post-industrial city.
The exhibition brings into focus an Athens no longer visible, yet persisting through its traces and ongoing transformations.
