S+J — Hangar 21
Getting ready together on the wedding day should absolutely be a thing 🤍
There’s just something about everyone being in one room. Not hiding between hallways and floors. But together, with the champagne flowing, the music loud, and the nerves slowly disappearing.
The morning starts to feel less about rushing to get everything done and moving onto the next thing, and more like the beginning of the celebration itself.
So often you see the pretty details laid out on our feed, but the intention behind the timeline matters just as much. We crafted this part of the day knowing getting ready together was something they were already so used to, giving them the space to fully soak in these moments with each other and somehow, it only made the emotions of their first look later even sweeter.
Needless to say, I’ll forever be a fan of doing whatever the hell you want on your wedding day because while traditions are great, celebrating your way is even better!

Funky florals, modern details, and a one-of-a-kind setting at Grand Gimeno, a luxury Southern California wedding venue in Orange County. Tiffany and Derrick’s wedding day began with an emotional first look in the Courtyard, followed by a romantic ceremony in the Olive Grove framed by lush, overgrown florals. Guests enjoyed wood-fired pizzas, signature cocktails, and tray passed hors d’oeuvres before heading into a stylish reception featuring a black-and-white checkered dance floor, unique fruit-accented tablescapes, and ikebana arrangements. From heartfelt vows to a packed dance floor, every detail came together to create an unforgettable celebration. If you’re searching for Southern California wedding venues or Orange County wedding venues that blend historic charm with modern design, Grand Gimeno offers a truly distinctive backdrop for your wedding day.
