So here’s a little more details about my #4 in my reintroduction post. 🤗
My love for creative business runs deep – it’s in my blood!
This cherished photo shows my great-grandparents standing proudly in front of their business, “Speig Signs Shop,” with my grandfather Julius as a baby in a stroller. My great-grandfather, Harrison H. Speiginer, was an artist who cleverly used one ‘S’ for all three words in his shop’s sign – a true testament to creative problem-solving!
Discovering this connection to my ancestors’ sign shop business fills me with an incredible sense of pride and purpose. It feels like I’m carrying on a family tradition, albeit in my own unique way. Just as my great-grandfather used his artistic skills to create signs, I’m using my creativity to bring beauty and personalization to people’s lives. It’s a beautiful reminder that creativity and entrepreneurship are part of my heritage.

🎨 Hey there, everyone! 🥰
It’s been a minute since I introduced myself to all my amazing followers and new friends, so hello! I’m Alysse, but you can call me KeeKee if you want! Here are a few fun facts about me:
1. KeeKee Creates was born from a twist on my middle name, Keemara, it’s like my artistic alter ego.
2. Shoutout to my cousin @ronnyyax in Panama who sparked my fascination with letters. His graffiti (on paper) opened up my love for exploring Typography!
3. Panama has been my second home since before I could walk—ask me about my favorite Panamanian dish!
4. Being creative is in my Blood. My great-grandfather’s “Speig Signs Shop” photo connects me to a legacy of creativity and entrepreneurship that is pretty cool!
5. I believe in the magic of creating with your hands, keeping traditional art alive.
6. I’ve been practicing graphic design since I was in my teens, and even went to school for it, just didn’t finish (oops!) but back in school to finish now =)
7. The art supply I can’t live without is my trusty kneaded eraser, it’s saved more masterpieces than I can count.
8. My family is a beautiful blend. I have a son, a fiancé who’s my partner in crime, and two soon-to-be stepsons who keep us on our toes.
9. If I weren’t an artist, I’d be a veterinarian…I have a soft spot for furry friends!
10. My studio playlist takes you from smooth jazz to hip-hop lo-fi beats, with some R&B soul in between.

2026 so far…
Full of ups and downs.
Happy and heartbreaking moments.
Testing seasons and deeply grateful ones.
Only 3 months in… but I’m so thankful I’ve been able to keep creating through it all.
Through unexpected health struggles.
Through family loss.
Through financial “new house” stress (iykyk).
Through co-parenting chaos… honestly I could write a full telenovela at this point 😅
And still…
I got to engrave at beautiful live events.
I got to create meaningful pieces in the studio.
I sadly engraved urns for the first time — something so personal and sacred. But grateful I was able to do it for family. 🤍
I showed up. Even when it was hard.
This transition from OC to Hemet has been exhausting.
No one said it would be easy (literally lol) and it hasn’t been.
But I’m choosing to stay hopeful.
Still transitioning.
Still growing.
Still grateful. ❤️🩹
